Upstairs Artspace in Tryon NC

December 12 - 18, 2015     100X100 Art Sale Fundraiser at the Upstairs Art Space.  This popular  fundraiser returns just in time for holiday gift-giving. Original artwork by 100 artists will be sold on a first-come, first served basis for $100 each. 


The sale begins with an opening reception held on Friday, Dec. 5, from 5 - 8 pm; the same evening as the Tryon Holiday Stroll. Participating artists will remain anonymous until the final day of the exhibit when their identities will be revealed during a closing reception Friday, Dec. 19, from 5 - 7:30 pm.

Tryon Gallery Trot this Mother's Day Weekend

May 11  Tryon Gallery Trot   From 5-8 PM downtown Tryon comes to life with galleries hosting opening receptions, late hours, or featuring special events. The Tryon Gallery Trots are evenings where the arts are the primary focus with an open invitation for all to attend and enjoy.

View new art exhibits, meet and talk with artists and craftspeople, or authors and illustrators during the Trots, to enjoy light refreshments, and enjoy art demonstrations and music performances.

Skyuka Fine Art Opening Reception for "Paintings from Afar"

April 13    Opening Reception for "Paintings from Afar" at Skyuka Fine Art   This is a group show including the works of Richard Christian Nelson, Michael McNamara, Keith Spencer, Jim Carson, William and Anne Jameson, Gary Cooley, Richard Oversmith, Linda Cheek, Dawn Whitelaw and Bill Lovett. The opening reception will be from 5-8 PM.
