Events at John C Campbell Folk School:
Berea College Bluegrass Ensemble
was founded in the fall of 1999 to give Berea College students with background or potential in bluegrass music an opportunity to play in a "working" bluegrass band with weekly rehearsals, performances, travel, etc. Members are selected by audition, and typically remain with the group until they graduate from Berea College.
The Folk School music events begin at 7 PM and offer FREE
admission, but DONATIONS WELCOME.
News and information about NC mountain arts and crafts, galleries, craft shops, artists. NC Art Museums, exhibits, festivals, workshops and educational opportunities plus featured artists and galleries throughout the Western North Carolina mountains. Where to buy local handmade mountain crafts and view local art exhibits.

Winter Concerts at the John C Campbell Folk School
Join the John C Campbell Folk School for free Friday night concerts featuring some of the
finest regional and national acts around. On most Fridays from 7-8 PM,
you'll enjoy old-time, bluegrass, folk, gospel, and Celtic music in the
Keith House Community Room. There are also occasionally concerts on other
evenings, so check the website often for the upcoming schedule.
