John C Campbell Folk School Scottish Heritage Week

September 1-7    Scottish Heritage Week at John C Campbell Folk School   Early Scotch and Scotch-Irish settlers contributed greatly to American culture, and nowhere has their influence been more strongly felt than in the Appalachians. Enjoy fascinating history and stories, and take part in lively blacksmithing, music, basketry, pottery, fiber, and wood classes. Come create savory jam and chutney, and partake of delicious pies and scones during a traditional high tea.
