Asheville Art Museum Gala Tomorrow Night

June 21, 6 PM The Asheville Art Museum (2 South Pack Square in downtown Asheville NC) Presents  Visions + Visionaries: Pop Art Gala.  The evening includes an exciting live auction, and all of the auction items are listed online so you can prepare your bids. If you are unable to join us at the Gala, we encourage you to call us with an absentee bid at 828.253.3227.

Pop Art promises to be an exciting and festive evening featuring a live auction of fine art, vacation destinations, culinary adventures and more.
This is a benefit to support the Museum’s innovative programming and exhibitions, and help bring great art and great experiences to the Western North Carolina region.

The location well be The Morris Hellenic Cultural Center,  227 Cumberland Avenue in Asheville. Tickets are $150 per person and can be reserved by calling 828-253-3227  purchased online.

Wilkesboro Open Air Market this Week

June 20, 2014  Wilkesboro Open Air Market    The Regular Friday markets will happen every Friday and will feature the freshest produce and handmade crafts of the surrounding area. Third Friday Markets also include downtown merchants, food vendors, local wineries, musicians, regional farms and produce, arts and crafts, demonstrators, as well as non-profit and civic organizations are open from 4 PM - 9 PM.

Each Third Friday Open Air Market will be themed with live music, children's activities, contests, and more. The Regular Friday markets will happen every Friday and will feature the freshest produce and handmade crafts of the surrounding area.

Asheville's Art in the Park This Weekend

June 21, 2014   Art in the Park   Artisans working in Glass, Ceramics, Wood, Jewelry, and metal show and sell in a public market setting in the center of Asheville in Pack Square Park. The event takes place on three consecutive Saturdays each June and October.

Nationally known artists exhibit at this event and the best part is- they are local. 10% of the proceeds from the event will be donated to a local art non-profit organization.
