Oct 21 - 24 one of the Southeast's most important craft events takes place this week in Asheville NC. The fall edition of The Crafts Fair of the Southern Highlands is four days of fine traditional and contemporary crafts. Over 200 craftspeople fill the two levels of the center selling their works of clay, fiber, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, natural materials, paper, wood and jewelry. The event takes place in the peak of the leaf season and is located in downtown Asheville at the Civic Center.
