November 12 - Dec 18 A Stitch in Time Quilts Exhibit at the Bascom art center in Highlands NC provides
an opportunity to examine quilts on loan from local collectors and appreciate functional objects as works of art. As with most traditional crafts what began as a day to day necessity of life has evolved into a high art form with both functional and aesthetic use.
