Ann Vasilik Show Opens this weekend at the NC Arboretun

January 26 - May 19  NC Artist Ann Vasilik Show " A Painter's Journey"  on exhibit at the NC Arboretum, captures her travels at home and abroad. The show is open to the public 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily. Ann Vasilik., a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania has lived in Asheville, North Carolina since 1988 and is best known for her vibrant paintings that capture the natural and architectural beauty of Western North Carolina.

Her new exhibit will feature familiar scenes of  mountain communities as well as exciting locales from her world travels. Vasilik received a bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Philadelphia College of Art and has worked as a painter, illustrator and teacher in Virginia, California, Hawaii, North Carolina and the Republic of the Philippines.

The North Carolina Arboretum is located at 100 Frederick Law Olmsted Way in Asheville NC.
