Heartwood Gallery Spring News

Spring has arrived at Heartwood Gallery, 21 East Min Street in downtown Saluda NC, as new work is arriving daily. There are many new artists joining the Gallery this year, as well as new work from favorite veteran artists. Saluda Fridays will return this spring and summer throughout the Tailgate Market season. The Saluda Tailgate market opens this Friday, May 3 from 4:30 - 6:30 PM. Heartwood, along with other retailers, will extend Friday hours to 8 PM, so you can dine and shop after the market.

Just in time for spring gardening, Heartwood has a new selection of unique, handcrafted garden art. Gardening, like art, feeds the soul and nourishes our love for beauty.

Francis Metal Works is the collaboration of  Charles Adams and Thomas Windhalm. They have married their love of gardening and metal work to create these unique sculptures inspired by the world's greatest water sanctuaries. Handcrafted from iron and Minnesota field stones, these sculptures will add a touch of serenity to any environment.

Artist Stephen Fabrico constructs birdhouses, bird feeders and outdoor mobiles in porcelain clay with nature inspired etchings and glazes. Each piece is reinforced with a steel cable hanger, making them functional and beautiful.

Husband & wife team John and Heather Zondervan work together in their metal studio on the family farm in rural Ontario, Canada.. Since 1996 they have developed a broad range of artistic work, from indoor home decor to garden art. This collection of botanical metal work is all made of rusted steel. They are designed for year round outdoor use.
