Free Classes for Local Students

Free classes (local giveaways) are occasionally available from the Folk School for local students (as defined below). The fine print:
- Each person may only claim a giveaway one time every 12 months.
- You must be "local." Read below in the Am I Local? section to see if you qualify.
- Tuition is FREE, but each student will be required to pay a $25 registration fee and any additional materials costs. If there is space available and you choose to stay on campus, regular housing and meals rates apply.
- Local Giveaways are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis and may not be used on a class for which you are already registered.
- If you choose to register, you must do this by phone or in person - no online registrations, please. Call our Registration Staff (828-837-2775 or 800-365-5724) and be sure to mention Local Giveaways to the person answering your call. https://www.folkschool.org
