Penland School of Crafts work-study scholarship applications due

Work-study scholarship applications for the fall eight-week Concentration classes at Penland School of Crafts are due by Friday, August 6.

This is also the deadline for our two special work-study scholarships: the Samuel A. Almon Scholarship, which can be used for a fall or spring Concentration in textiles; and the Christy Wright Scholarship for Glass Art,which can be used for a fall or spring Concentration in glass. These are fully funded work-study scholarships that cover all room, board, and tuition. The catch here is that you have to apply by August 6 whether you are applying for a fall class or a spring class.
