The City of Asheville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department seeks artists and illustrators to design the official Bele Chere 2013 Festival Poster. Artists are invited to submit examples of previous poster designs. The selected artist will create the official festival artwork to be used for the festival’s image and merchandise sales of posters and t-shirts.
The winning artist will receive $1,000 upon completion of the project. Selected local WNC nonprofits receive a percentage of sales proceeds in exchange for facilitating merchandise sales during the festival.
