A Docent-led tour of works on view from the Museum's Permanent Collection, currently comprised of more than 3,000 works of American art ranging from the 20th to 21st centuries, including works of significance to Western North Carolina and the Southeast. Man and his Monuments

Art Working will provide a lively afternoon discussion of the role of government in art, the history of the Works Progress Administration and its legacies in public and private sector grant-making, and how to survive as a working artist today. Guest panelists include public art consultant, Janet Kagan, Arts2People Executive Director, Kitty Love, as well as artist and Assistant Professor of Art at UNCA, Mark Koven.
